Sustainable garden design focuses on creating beautiful, functional spaces that work in harmony with the environment.   By selecting plants suited to the local climate, using natural resources and materials wisely, and encouraging biodiversity, we design gardens that feel harmonious and long lasting.  The more planting areas the better as far as we are concerned.

Every element of each project is chosen with intention—from pollinator-attracting flowers to climate-resilient trees and shrubs— celebrating the beauty and value of diverse ecosystems and ensuring the garden functions as a vital habitat for insects, birds, and small mammals

We reinforce our goal to reconnect our clients with nature by creating spaces that are beautiful, functional, and environmentally conscious, ensuring that biodiversity and sustainability is one of our core considerations during the design process.   This ethos is threaded through every project whether a small urban courtyard or a large rural estate. 

At KMGD, sustainability underpins the way we work day to day. Our team embraces car sharing, remote working and video calls to reduce unnecessary travel, while on site we make conscious choices to minimise waste. From recycling pots, packaging and coffee pods to re-using samples and responsibly sourcing materials, we focus on small, consistent actions that collectively make a big difference.
