Karen has successfully grown KMGD from her passion and love for the horticulture and landscaping industry.

Karen is the backbone and driving force behind KMGD that continues to learn, develop and grow her company, to provide our clients with the best service and garden designs year on year.

Not only is Karen passionate about her company, she is just as passionate about her team. Finding team members that fit within the company is important, with the right attitudes and beliefs, kindness and the ability to laugh with one another being a pre-requisite of our team ethos.

Outside of work Karen’s hobbies include plane spotting, shopping, haircuts and visiting Starbucks for her favourite earl grey tea!

Fiona Northover

Fiona Northover
Soft Landscaping Co-Ordinator & Business Development

Working predominantly behind the scenes, Fiona’s key focus is ensuring delivery of efficient and seamless client service alongside the team’s first-class designs.

Fiona’s career began in the fast-paced world of investment management, working as a broker’s assistant in the City. After taking time out to raise a family, she brought her versatile skill set to KMGD in 2016, supporting Karen through the studio’s continued growth and evolution.

She thrives on the wide variety her role offers;  from client and supplier liaison to finance and business development and having passed her RHS exams in 2023, she loves her involvement during the soft landscaping stage of the design process.  Fiona brings organisation, knowledge and passion to the KMGD team.

Fiona believes that when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work!  Outside the studio, she enjoys time with her family, baking, F1, gardening, walking her dogs, and the occasional hiking adventure!
