Project Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Client Brief: Our client required a garden design to compliment their house refurbishment. The garden had become overgrown and was no longer under control. The client required a space that “raised the spirits”. The family are keen cooks and the dream garden was a walled kitchen garden, with a frost-free greenhouse, a herringbone brick path, fruit trees, an arch and a water feature. A small place to sit with a cup of tea in the shade preferably, but not that large and there were no plans to entertain outside. Clients requested an automated watering systems and a design aesthetic that was simple with clean lines – using traditional materials.

Products Used: Alitex Glasshouse, Vande Moortel Clay Pavers, bespoke t-washed steel planters, Stark and Greensmith metalwork, London Stone pier caps, Architectural Plants, English Woodlands, The Oak and Rope Company, John Cullen Lighting
